So, what do you do now as a former minion? Do you seek to just make your own new life, burning the old bridges? Or do you have a secret grudge or unsettled business with your old employer? Maybe you left something or someone of value behind. Former minions don't have that many options in life since being a minion isn't something you can put in your resume anyway. Perhaps you deserted your minion duties and now are a freelance for higher in a mercenary company. Or maybe you don't want to be a minion anymore. They could be an unaligned or benevolent figure who sends you out in the world with their coat of arms to complete some task. You don't necessarily have to serve an evil master either. Or maybe you were just considered a runt in your society and thus deemed fit only to serve. So, how did you end up in this humble position as a minion? Are you perhaps bound by your heritage? Has your family, maybe race, been historic minion figures? This can be the case for races like goblins and kobolds. You often do the grunt work, setting traps, maybe polishing your masters shoes and weapons, and dealing with people your master doesn't want to see. ![]() While you are usually a pain to deal with and underappreciated, you are ultimately a necessary part of the story.
